Export and import prices dropped last month
U.S. import prices declined 0.6 percent in October after recording no change in September, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) said today. Decreasing fuel prices contributed to the drop. Meanwhile, the price of items exported from the country fell 2.1 percent, the largest monthly drop since December 2008, the BLS said.
