Former Iowa speaker to serve on Republican state leadership board
Former Iowa House Speaker Christopher Rants will serve as a board member for the Republican State Leadership Committee (RSLC), the committee announced yesterday. Rants served 18 years in the Iowa House of Representatives, and four as the speaker. He was also elected majority and minority floor leader during his time in the House. The RSLC is a caucus of GOP state leaders with a mission to elect Republicans to state-level office.
