American Equity declares dividend, authorizes stock repurchase
American Equity Investment Life Holding Co. has declared an annual cash dividend of 12 cents per share to owners of its common stock, payable on Dec. 16 to shareholders of record as of Dec. 2. American Equity directors also have approved the buyback of up to 10 million shares of common stock in the next two years.
