The American Heart Association is partnering with local businesswomen to present its annual Go Red for Women Luncheon, which is intended to educate women about heart disease and offer advice on how to prevent it. The event is slated for 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Sept. 9 at the Sheraton West Des Moines Hotel. This year’s executive leadership team includes Kathy Goetz of the Iowa Heart Center, Michelle Gowdy of Pioneer Hi-bred International Inc., Lori Becker of State Farm Insurance, Sheila Burton of Aviva USA, Kim Foltz of Iowa Alliance in Home Care, Kassie Graziano of Allegra Print & Imaging, Ann Leonard of Pioneer Hi-Bred and Morgan Voga of Greater Iowa Credit Union.
