The Governor’s Transportation 2020 Citizens Advisory Commission (CAC), established earlier this year, will hold a series of seven public meetings in August and September around the state.

A meeting in Des Moines will be held on Aug. 24 at Embassy Suites on the River, 101 E. Locust St. Gov. Terry Branstad tasked the CAC with assisting the Iowa Department of Transportation in completing a legislatively mandated review of the sufficiency of the current and projected funding levels of Iowa’s Road Use Tax Fund to meet projected construction and maintenance needs.
