The Greater Des Moines Leadership Institute is seeking proposals for a potential project partnership involving an area nonprofit organization and the 2011-2012 Community Leadership Program class.

Past projects include improvements to the Amos Hiatt Middle School auditorium, Broadlawns Medical Center Mental Health Services and the Miracle League baseball field.

Projects must demonstrate benefit to the nonprofit or the community, actively involve all 60 class members and shouldn’t require the class contribution, including cash and in-kind donations, to exceed $200,000. Proposals are due by Sept. 7. For more information, click here.
