Former FDIC regional director to present on Oct. 14
Mark Schmidt, managing director of Promontory Financial Group LLC, will be the fall 2011 speaker for the Robert Stafford Lecture Series on Banking in Iowa State University’s College of Business on Oct. 14. Schmidt, an ISU alumnus, spent 33 years with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corpg. (FDIC), including seven years as the regional director of the FDIC’s Atlanta Region, with bank supervisory responsibility for seven states. For more information on the program, click here.
