Des Moines home sales keep strong pace
In September, 763 homes were sold in Des Moines, which is up 36 percent from last year, according to statistics released today by the Des Moines Area Association of Realtors. The report shows that 700 contracts were written in September, homes were on the market for an average of 105 days and there were 5,375 active listings. The median sale price of a home was $148,900.
