Iowa Innovation Corp. elects officers
The Iowa Innovation Corp. (IIC), the operating arm of the state’s new economic development structure, recently elected officers of its seven-person board. Robert Riley Jr., president and CEO of Feed Energy Co. in Des Moines, will serve as the IIC’s chairman. Jack Harris, retired president and CEO of Rockwell Collins Inc., was elected as the organization’s president and CEO. Cara Heiden, retired co-president of Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, will serve as vice chair, and Jamie Zanios, vice president of North Iowa Area Community College, will be the secretary/treasurer. The IIC was established by the Iowa Legislature in 2010.
