Heartland Express releases quarter results
Heatland Express Inc. increased operating revenues by 1.8 percent from $137.2 million to $139.7 million. in the quarter that ended June 30, according to a statement released today.
The North Liberty-based trucking company said operating income was negatively affected by a $7.8 million loss related to disposal of property and equipment.
Net income decreased 19.1 percent from $22.5 million to $18.2 million in the last quarter compared with the same time last year.
