Leaders to attend STEM Summit
Iowa education, business and civic leaders will meet next Tuesday to discuss the framework for Gov. Terry Branstad’s new STEM Initiative, focused on increasing the availability of science, technology, engineering and mathematics education to rural Iowans.
Last week Branstad announced the six STEM hubs across the state.
The Iowa Statewide STEM Summit will be held May 15 from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Community Choice Credit Union Convention Center at Veterans Memorial in Des Moines. For more information or to register, click here.
