U.S. Airways to begin direct D.C. flights

U.S. Airways tomorrow will begin operating two new daily flights from Des Moines International Airport to Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. The new flights, which were previously announced by the airline in February, will depart at 6 a.m. and 4:10 p.m. on a Republic Airlines 69-passenger aircraft. Republic Airlines is a U.S. Airways Express carrier.There will be no service on Saturdays.This service will give U.S.Airways three destinations from Des Moines; it currently serves Phoenix and Charlotte.
