Facebook adds more shares the day before IPO
After increasing the price of shares to $35 to $38 yesterday, Facebook Inc. announced today it will increase the amount of shares it makes available in its initial pubic offering Thursday, adding 84 million more shares.
This brings the total to 421 million shares and could generate the company up to $16 billion, which would be the third largest initial share sale behind Visa Inc. and General Motors Co.
