Bankers Trust Co. has launched a website that brings various aspects of local real estate to one location.

The Resident Insider debuted April 28. It provides a single source of information about real estate agents, contractors and developers. Among other things, the site provides real estate agents a platform for creating a personal profile page and announcing open houses.

Home buyers can get information on applying for mortgages. In addition, there are sections for contractors and developers and information on appraisals and inspections.

Registered users are invited to contribute articles and other insights about the market and use their individual social media channels to further distribute the information.

Bankers Trust is sponsoring the website at no cost to real estate agents.

“If you spend enough time with our CEO, Suku Radia, you’ll likely hear him say something to the effect of how a rising tide lifts all boats in the harbor or how the investment of social capital provides a return in our community for years if not generations,” said Jana Rieker, Bankers Trust director of sales and marketing.
