Warren County to kick off five-year plan to create jobs and grow wealth
Warren County Economic Development Corp. is set to launch a five-year plan to create more jobs, bring capital investment and grow wealth for Warren County on Jan. 31, at Summerset Winery in Indianola.
The group will launch its plan with the help of key leaders, including Gov. Terry Branstad, Iowa Economic Development Authority Director Debi Durham, the Greater Des Moines Partnership’s new CEO, Jay Byers, and newly elected Iowa Farm Bureau Federation President and Warren County resident Craig Hill.
The four initiatives outlined in the plan are business retention and expansion, public relations and advocacy, product development, and workforce development and quality-of-life
