Financial institution clients of The Members Group (TMG) have a new weapon to use in the fight against payment card fraud, the Des Moines-based company announced. The new product, DefenseEdge, can help detect fraudulent transactions more quickly than other solutions and minimize losses, according to TMG. DefenseEdge can identify threats in real time from non-monetary actions such as a change of address request or a PIN change, which can signal account takeovers or counterfeit cards. All credit and debit card clients of TMG will have the ability to employ DefenseEdge at their option.
