Low fuel prices and low mortgage rates have spurred consumer confidence for the fourth week in a row, according to Bloomberg.

The Bloomberg Consumer Comfort Index rose to negative 36.4 from negative 37.6 from the previous week.

The index is now at the highest point since April. The yearly average for consumer comfort is negative 38.7.

Bloomberg’s measures of how people feel about their personal finances and whether they believe it is a good time to buy also increased.
