Lee Enterprises pays back $60 million of debt
Davenport-based Lee Enterprises Inc. repaid $60 million of debt in fiscal year 2012, which ended Sept. 30, theWaterloo-Cedar Falls Courier reported.
The company has since paid an additional $15.3 million, bringing its balance down to $930.6 million and putting it ahead of schedule. Lee Chairman and CEO Mary Junck said Lee expects to be able to continue to reduce its debt over the next few years.
