Governor, attorney general to speak at credit union conference
Gov. Terry Branstad and Iowa Attorney General Tom Miller will be the keynote speakers at the Iowa Credit Union Legislative Issues Conference on Tuesday at the Embassy Suites on the River in Des Moines. Branstad will share his legislative priorities, and Miller will discuss the hot topics and priorities in 2011. JoAnn Johnson, the recently appointed superintendent of the Iowa Division of Credit Unions, and Iowa Economic Development Director Debi Durham also will speak, as will representatives from the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the U.S. Small Business Association.
