The American Mock Trial Association’s 27th Annual College Mock Trial National Championships will take place in Des Moines from Friday through Sunday.

The event consists of the best 48 teams from more than 600 that compete in tournaments across the country. Four rounds of trials will take place at the Polk County Courthouse, the U.S. District Courthouse and the Polk County Convention Complex. All trials are open to the public. The event is sponsored by Drake University Law School and the Belin McCormick law firm.
