The Davis Brown Law Firm has received the Pro Patria Award, the highest state-level award given to civilian employers by the U.S. Department of Defense.  The Iowa Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) committee presented the firm with the award during the Annual ESGR Employer Recognition Banquet held April 9. The firm was nominated by Maj. William Kelly, a Judge Advocate General officer and Davis Brown attorney who is currently serving in Afghanistan. Each year, the award is given to an employer that has provided exceptional support of U.S. national defense through leadership practices and personnel policies supporting its employees who serve in the National Guard and Reserve.
