Iowa Congressman Tom Latham said he intends to enter the 2012 race for the U.S. Congress in Iowa’s new 3rd Congressional District.

Iowa Congressman Tom Latham said in a letter to friends and supporters that he intends to enter the 2012 race for the U.S. Congress in Iowa’s new 3rd Congressional District, which includes Dallas, Madison, Polk and Warren counties. Latham, a Republican, said cutting government debt and spending is one of his top priorities.
