Wittrock named as Aviva’s chief investment officer
Aviva USA has named Joseph Wittrock as its chief investment officer. Wittrock, who most recently served as head of research for West Des Moines-based Aviva Investors North America, will manage the risk and investment results of an approximately $50 billion asset portfolio in his new role. Wittrock earned a bachelor’s degree in finance and banking from Buena Vista University and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago. He joined Aviva in 2000.
