The Civic Center of Greater Des Moines yesterday announced the lineup for its 2011-12 season, including three different season ticket packages and non-package presentations of “Wicked” (Nov. 9-Dec. 4) and “Rain: A Tribute to the Beatles” (May 15-16, 2012).

The Willis Broadway Series features five shows that are new to Des Moines, including 2010 Tony Award-winner “La Cage aux Folles,” featuring George Hamilton. It also features 2009 Tony Award-winning musical “Billy Elliot the Musical” and 2010 Tony Award-winning musical “Memphis,” in addition to “West Side Story” and “Bring It On: The Musical.”

The other ticket packages are the three-show Dance Series and the four-show Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield Family Series. For more information, go to www.civiccenter.org.
