Students win state business plan competition
Teams of students at three Iowa universities have each won $5,000 first-place awards in the Pappajohn New Venture Business Plan Competition, which was intended for Iowa college students with an interest in starting their own companies. Greg Jass and Therese Kuster, both of the University of Northern Iowa, won for their business, SEO Solutions LLC. Michael Koenigm, Holden Nyhus and Stuart McCulloh, all of Iowa State University, won for their business, Scout Pro. And Keaton Walker of the University of Iowa won for his business, Responsible Transportation LLC. The competition was sponsored by John Pappajohn, Equity Dynamics and the Pappajohn centers at Drake University, Iowa State University, North Iowa Area Community College, the University of Iowa and the University of Northern Iowa.
