Bob Berkebile, a principal of BNIM Architects, will be the featured speaker at Center on Sustainable Communities’ (COSC) Sustainable Commercial Development luncheon on May 25. The event is scheduled to take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Greater Des Moines Partnership, 700 Locust St. Berkebile, founding chairman of the American Institute of Architects’ National Committee on the Environment, has 44 years of experience in the architectural profession. He helped with the formation of the U.S. Green Building Council and that agency’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design rating system.
