A telephone solicitor seeking money on behalf of Americans With Disabilities LLC of Phoenix falsely claimed during a telephone solicitation that he was blind and seeking a guide dog, that he served in the Vietnam War and was exposed to Agent Orange, that his daughter recently died of cystic fibrosis and that he is a native Iowan, according to an undercover telephone recording and a lawsuit filed today by Attorney General Tom Miller in Polk County District Court. When filling out a form, the man told investigators that he did pass through “DeBuke” at one time in his life, according to a news release from Miller’s office.
