Farmers Mutual Hail Insurance upgraded by A.M. Best
A.M. Best Co. has upgraded the issuer credit rating to “a+” from “a” and affirmed the financial strength rating of “A,” or excellent, for Farmers Mutual Hail Insurance Company of Iowa.
The outlook for both ratings is stable. Farmers Mutual said in a statement that the ratings reflect excellent capitalization, historically solid operating performance, strong agency relationships and benefits from the company’s market presence within the crop hail and multi-peril crop insurance business lines.
