Entrepreneur magazine has named Des Moines-based SmartyPig LLC to its 100 Most Brilliant Companies list. SmartyPig is one of 10 companies in the “value” category.

SmartyPig is an online banking company that offers clients a savings mechanism designed to help them set and achieve specific financial goals. It was founded in 2008 by Mike Ferrari and Jon Gaskell.
