Knous elected to MHEG committee
Kristi Knous, who was recently promoted to president and chief operating officer of the Community Foundation of Greater Des Moines, was elected to a committee for Midwest Housing Equity Group Inc. (MHEG).
Knous will serve on the Iowa Operations & Investment Committee. Susan Whitson, director and executive vice president for First National Bank of Waverly, was also elected to the committee. MHEG is a nonprofit corporation that raises private capital from corporations to build and preserve affordable housing in Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska and Oklahoma.
