Science Center board selects interim president
The Science Center of Iowa has selected Art Wittmack to lead the organization as the nonprofit organization’s board of directors looks for a permanent leader to replace outgoing President and CEO Paul Jennings. Wittmack, who was recruited by the board for the interim president and CEO position, served as a board member from 1998 to 2007 and board chair from 2005 to 2007. He is a director with Neumann Bros. Inc. Citing “family reasons,” Jennings announced in June that he would resign. His last day is scheduled to be Aug. 15.
