Design and planning is under way for Iowa Health Physicians Indianola Family Medicine.  The clinic’s physicians and staff will relocate to 301 E. Hillcrest Ave. in Indianola late this year, Iowa Health – Des Moines officials said. The 9,200-square-foot facility will be approximately twice the size of the existing clinic and will be equipped with a digital X-ray machine for faster turnaround of images. Simonson & Associates Architects LLC of Des Moines designed the facility; Downing Construction Inc. in Indianola will be the general contractor. Iowa Health will lease the facility from the developer, West Des Moines-based Three-Sixty Group LLC. The facility will be the second clinic to be built in Indianola this year. In March, Mercy Clinics broke ground for a 22,000-square-foot clinic just to the north in the Summercrest Hills development.
