The Des Moines Area Regional Transit Authority (DART) today released recommendations for its DART Forward 2035 plan. New services being proposed for the next 10 years included suburban circulators in West Des Moines and Ankeny, high-frequency service along University and Ingersoll avenues between downtown and 42nd Street, more service between major retail centers and eventual cross-town service connecting the east and west sides of the metro area without being routed through downtown. DART will hold a series of public meetings this week to discuss the recommendations. For a full schedule and more information on the recommendations, click here.
