The Home Builders Association of Greater Des Moines will kick off its 36th annual HomeShowExpo on Friday in Altoona. The largest expo in recent years, this year’s event will feature 10 furnished homes ranging in price from about $300,000 to almost $700,000, from nine builders. Scheduled to take place July 22-31 at the Ironwood development, the show will include offerings from local restaurants. Tickets cost $10 for adults and $5 for children.
