The 2011 Women of Innovation awards opens its nomination period today.

The 2011 Women of Innovation awards, annually hosted by the Technology Association of Iowa, opens its nomination period today and will hold a breakfast event from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. Aug. 30 at Pioneer Hi-Bred International Inc., 7200 N.W. 62nd St., Johnston. Interested attendees are encouraged to visit www.technologyiowa.org/woibreakfastcr to register. The 2011 Women of Innovation awards ceremony will be held Nov. 17 at the Hy-Vee Conference Center.
