The Business Record will host a Power Breakfast on the topic of risk aversion and how that can affect opportunities for business startups and economic growth. The event will take place on Sept. 13.

Mike Colwell, head of the Greater Des Moines Partnership’s Business Innovation Zone, will be the moderator for panelists Ben Milne, founder of Dwolla Corp., David Swenson, an Iowa State University economics researcher, John LeMarche, principal at VentureNet Iowa LLC, and Christian Renaud, principal at StartupCity Des Moines.
