Anawim to hold ribbon cutting for townhouses
Anawim Housing will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday to celebrate the completion of eight new townhouses.
The event will begin at 10 a.m. in front of the new properties located at 2201 Forest Ave.
The houses are part of an initiative between Anawim and Hubbell Realty Co., who have partnered since 2009. The initiative receives a portion of its funding from the city of Des Moines. Residents will move in starting Sept. 1.
