Hazardous waste disposal Saturday
Metro Waste Authority’s “Clean Up Crew” will hold a household hazardous waste clean-up event in Windsor Heights on Saturday.
Residents from the entire Metro Waste Authority service area can take lead and oil-based paints, chemicals such as insecticides, poisons and solvents, lawn products and cleaners to the event for proper disposal. It will run from 8 a.m. until noon at 6900 School St., behind the Wal-Mart store.
