YASH Technologies, a technology services and outsourcing company, announced this morning it has opened a development center in Urbandale. The company has hired a mix of full-time staff and contract professionals to fill 30 positions paying in the $75,000 to $90,000 range, said Srikaran Ramaseshan, regional director. YASH, whose U.S. corporate office is listed as Moline, Ill., said Greater Des Moines is a key strategic location as it continues to expand its customer base in the financial services sector. The Urbandale office will also support customers in other key industries, including manufacturing, high-technology and chemicals. The company, which also has an India headquarters, said it has added 300 new positions this year throughout other development center locations in the United States. Ramaseshan said he expects to hire up to 20 more people for the Urbandale office by the end of the year.
