Prairie Meadows to break ground on hotel
Prairie Meadows Racetrack and Casino will break ground on its new hotel at noon next Monday, Dec. 13.
The hotel will adjoin the Meadows Events and Conference Center. The hotel is budgeted to cost nearly $33 million, and was approved by the Prairie Meadows board on Nov. 30.
The Weitz Co. is the general contractor for the project, and completion is scheduled for early 2012.
