King Jr. Park Shelter and Congregate Meal Site, and the other to install safety cables on the Des Moines and Raccoon rivers.

Among other projects listed on the department’s bidding schedule:

Oct. 9 is the deadline for bids to construct two skywalk bridges as part of Nationwide Insurance’s ongoing construction of office and parking facilities downtown. That contract is expected to be awarded Oct. 22.

Bids for the Court Avenue Streetscape Rehabilitation project are due Oct. 23 and the contract is to be awarded Nov. 5.

A project to improve the intersection of Southwest Seventh Street and Indianola Road carries a bid date of Nov. 6 and an award date of Nov. 19.

Bids are due Nov. 27 for remodeling the lower level and second floor at Des Moines International Airport. That contract is expected to be awarded Dec. 4.
