The workshop will be held on Thursday, July 20, from 1-2:30 p.m. at Catch Des Moines, located at 400 Locust, Suite 265 in Des Moines. Employers seeking talent and navigating youth employment legislation can gain valuable insights from experts and service providers who work directly with young individuals. The event will feature a panel of esteemed speakers, including Kylie Rinehart from MercyOne, Dwight Jackson from Urban Dreams, Alice Castle from IVRS, Allyson Vukovich from IJAG, and Marvin DeJear, the Chief Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officer at the Greater Des Moines Partnership, who will moderate the discussion.Attendees can expect to learn best practices for maximizing youth employment opportunities and developing young individuals for future workforce success.
