88 wordsAll Latest News, Arts and Culture, Nonprofits and PhilanthropyThe West Des Moines Historical Society has launched a $500,000 fund drive to secure operating revenue to continue its mission to “safeguard and celebrate the cultural legacy of West Des Moines.” The organization, which owns and maintains the Jordan House and Bennett School museums, will use the funds to care for historic buildings, preserve historic documents, train staff and expand educational programs, according to a news release.
