Tracy McCormick will serve as chair of MidWestOne Financial Group Inc. and MidWestOne Bank, the group announced. McCormick is the daughter of MidWestOne Bank’s former chairman and director emeritus, W. Richard Summerwill, who died in March. McCormick was appointed to the board of directors in 2011, following her father’s retirement. McCormick, who resides in California, is the chief financial officer and a director of Mill Creek Development Co., an urban planning and development company in Pasadena, Calif. She currently serves on the board of directors of Folience, a private Cedar Rapids-based company. MidWestOne also announced that Andre Perry has been appointed to its board of directors. Perry is executive director of Hancher Auditorium and the University of Iowa Office of Performing Arts and Engagement. MidWestOne Financial Group is a financial holding company headquartered in Iowa City. MidWestOne is the parent company of MidWestOne Bank, which has banking offices in Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin and Colorado.
