Pella Corp. announced it has acquired Weather Shield, a Medford, Wis.-based manufacturer of architectural wood and aluminum window and door solutions. According to a news release, Weather Shield is known for architectural design expertise and high-end product offerings, serving architects, builders and homeowners. “With 70 years of experience in the window and door industry, Weather Shield has demonstrated an outstanding understanding of architectural design and consistently delivers on quality and customer expectations,” Tim Yaggi, CEO of Pella Corp., said in a prepared statement. “Their reputation for innovation and precision engineering makes them a natural strategic fit. Together, we’ll build on our complementary strengths to create even more compelling solutions for the customers we serve.” Bob Foote, president of Weather Shield, said the partnership represents “strategic and cultural alignment that will allow our people and our business to thrive.”
