The Department of Management Division of Information Technology is requesting public comment on the State of Iowa Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) final proposal. The final proposal encompasses Iowa’s implementation of $415,331,313 of broadband infrastructure grant funding that targets unserved and underserved locations in the state. The National Telecommunications and Infrastructure Administration administers the funds. The public comment period is open until Sept. 3.
