Variety – the Children’s Charity of Iowa announced it has awarded grants to 102 Iowa nonprofits through its annual grant program. The projects aim to improve the lives of at-risk, underprivileged, critically ill and special needs children. The funding primarily goes toward brick-and-mortar projects, equipment purchases and other tangible resources that directly benefit children, a news release said.
