The deal gives Kemin full ownership of CJ Youtell’s fermentation plants in Shandong and Hunan, China, along with its product portfolio, expanding the company’s ability to deliver sustainable enzyme technologies worldwide. The acquisition also enhances Kemin’s research and development capacity with new laboratories and technical teams, while adding operational efficiencies aimed at reducing supply chain risks and optimizing production costs. By combining CJ Youtell’s fermentation expertise with its own formulation and customer support services, Kemin said it plans to offer integrated, high-performance enzyme solutions to meet growing global demand.
