ISU Foundation honors 2025 Emerging Philanthropist Award recipient

119 wordsAll Latest News, Education, Nonprofits and PhilanthropyThe Iowa State University Foundation has named Jen Scharff of Ankeny as the recipient of the 2025 Order of the Knoll Emerging Philanthropist Award, recognizing her leadership and commitment to advancing the university’s mission through philanthropy and service. A 1998 ISU graduate in physics, Scharff has established two scholarships, the Jennifer Scharff Physics Scholarship and the Jennifer Scharff Trumpet Scholarship, while also serving in advisory roles for the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and the Department of Physics and Astronomy. She is a member of the Order of the Knoll Campanile Society, a life member of the ISU Alumni Association and serves as chief medical physicist at UnityPoint Health’s John Stoddard Cancer Center in Des Moines.
