Des Moines University Medicine and Health Sciences has officially named its property at 3200 Grand Ave., Des Moines the DMU32 Health and Business Complex. This name intends to honor the university’s legacy at the site and its vision to expand health care access, professional training and community partnerships. The site previously served as DMU’s main campus before the university relocated in 2023 to 8025 Grand Ave. in West Des Moines. The Des Moines site now hosts the DMU Clinic, which serves patients across seven specialties, and the new Des Moines University Regional Simulation Center, a new facility opening this month to provide immersive training for students, first responders and health professionals. In addition to health services and education, DMU32 offers leasable space to organizations and businesses and has made its Olsen Center auditorium available for conferences and corporate functions.
